While most tourmaline products generate negative ions only when external pressure or friction is applied, the Ecological Tourmaline Sheet generates negative ions without any external force by the patented technology. ^*2

The above graph shows that the negative ion counts are maintained at 700(pcs/cc) +/-.

Very few tourmaline products on the market generate this amount of negative ions when not in motion.

Washing Instructions

Hand wash: This is most recommended to protect the material. Performance is not affected. Fold the sheet and wash while pressing.

Machine wash: Performance is not affected but the material can gradually become worn out as you wash the sheet.

Dry cleaning: Performance is not affected but the material can gradually become worn out as you wash the sheet.

Sleep mask

I had dry eye syndrome (Xerophthalmia). I needed eye drops several times a day and my eyes were bloodshot and uncomfortable even while relaxing after taking a bath.

The symptoms had almost gone away in 2 weeks by wearing the mask for about 2 hours before going to bed. Moreover, tears do not come when driving my motorcycle.

Lumbar support

I have had ASH (ankylosing spinal hyperostosis) for five years. My doctor suggests I should have surgery but I feel reluctant to do so because of possible complications.

I could not keep standing for a long time without having a rest because of the pain caused by ASH. I could not keep the backbone straight when walking. Financially it was a burden for me to have a massage on a regular basis to alleviate the pain.

Q1. How long is the life span?

The fabric gets worn out during long term use but tourmaline continues to work almost forever.

Q2. How can I wash the sheet? Does washing affect the performance?

It does not affect the performance.

Washing Instructions

However, you will not mind even if signs of wear start to appear as it is washed repeatedly because the tourmaline sheet is normally placed under the bedsheet.

Q3. How often should I wash the sheet?

We suggest you should wash it once every week or two if it is placed under a bedsheet. Of course, you can wash more often when humidity is high or if you perspire a lot.

Q4. What is the difference between the Ecologial Tourmaline Sheet and the conventional tourmaline sheet?

While the conventional tourmaline sheet generates little amount of negative ions with no external pressure or friction, the Ecological Tourmaline Sheet generates a lot of negative ions without external force. It generates more negative ions when such force is applied to it. Thus, the Ecological Tourmaline Sheet ensures stable negative ion generation.

Q5. Is it OK to I lay down directly on the Ecological Tourmaline Sheet placed on a futon?

There is no problem but it will not be comfortable to the touch. This is why we suggest you should place it under the bedsheet. However, your body can absorb more negative ions when you lay down directly on it because it makes direct contact with the skin.

Q6. Can I enjoy negative ions if placed under a plastic sheet?

No, you cannot. The negative ions generated by the tourmaline sheet can not permeate through the plastic sheet.
