I purchased it for my husband who has psoriasis. This tourmaline stones is affordable, so we can use it as an alternative to bath salt products. According to a book, hot tourmaline water contains the same ingredients as hot springs. I sometimes mix the tourmaline stones with a bath salt. My husband has chronic dry skin. I heard that negative ions would be effective and searched on the internet. I decided to order this product because the stones are well polished and thought it would be easy to use. I received the stones the next day. I was impressed with the quick delivery! I put some stones into the net bag and soaked in the tourmaline water. The mild tourmaline hot water warms the body. I also have dry and itchy skin and I would often excessively scratch the itchy arms/legs/back during winter but the symptoms have disappeared. I think this is one of the tourmaline effects. His dry skin has also improved. We hope that the polished tourmaline will continue to generate negative ions and we will find more ion effects.
