1. Wear around the neck

You can wear it around your neck. Please be sure to use the Conductive Lanyard which comes with the generator for maximum performance.

Q: I am going to wear it around the neck and hide it under the shirt during work so that it cannot be seen by others. Does it affect the performance?
A: Yes, it does. We suggest you should wear it so that the blow off point is exposed to the air. You can clip it to your pocket and hide it inside

2. Place on a table/desk

You can place it on a table/desk and use it as your personal air purifier. Negative ions can reach up to 1m +/- away from the device. i.e. You can absorb fewer ions than when wearing around the neck. Please be sure the Conductive Lanyard makes direct contact with the table/desk for better ion distribution.

Indicator lights

• Indicator lights (Green): The green indicator lights located on the back side of the body blink when the device is properly generating negative ions. They do not turn on when it is not working normally or when the battery is flat. You can make sure that negative ions are being generated.

  1. How long is the life span of the AirTamer A315?

  It will continue to work for about 2 years if you use it 24/7. Mathematically the life span will be about 6 years if you use it for 8 hours a day. Usually it will work longer. You can turn it off when not in use in order to extend the life span. Of course, you can continue to use it after the above-mentioned periods if it is working properly.
  
  The negative ion emitter brush determine the life span. They become worn out as they generate negative ions. You can replace the brush with a new one.

  2. How can I clean the unit's exterior?

  • Turn unit off.
  • Gently wipe the exterior with a soft cloth moistened with warm water or mild detergents only. Do not use harsh solvents or chemicals for cleaning.
  • Remove all moisture with a soft, dry cloth.

  *Note: Always allow the exterior to dry completely before turning your AirTamer A315 back on.

  3. Does it need filters?

  No, it does not.

  4. Do I need to purchase any consumables on a regular basis?

  No, you do not.

  5. I have a pacemaker. Can I use this product?

  You should consult a doctor before use. The AirTamer A315 may interfere with the pacemaker function.

  6. Does this product produce ozone? If it does, is it harmful to the human body?

  It produces less than 0.0001ppm ozone. It is not harmful at all.

  7. Can I use this product in an airplane? I am afraid it may cause EMI interference.

  We do not have exact data but it has been said that a certain amount of negative ions permeate through cloth. However, a lot of negative ions are absorbed by the mask. We suggest you should expose at least the nose to effectively take the negative ions generated by the AirTamer A315.

  17. Will it protect the wearer from the effects of second-hand smoke?

  It cannot remove cigarette smoke completely but we have received reports that it helps.

  18. Do all particles/waste/dust collect inside the machine?

  No, they do not. They combine with negative ions and fall onto the floor.

  19. Do negative ions have an effect on odors? My co-worker wears a very strong perfume will this device help remove the offensive smell?

  The AirTamer A315 does not provide wider coverage. It will not remove the smell completely. If you are looking for a negative ion generator which provides wider coverage, the "Medical Ion Mini" is the option.

  20. Is it true that no purifier can actually effectively remove industrial/transport pollution as the particles are too small?

  The AirTamer A315 can remove small particles. Negative ions emitted by it and small particles combine together and fall onto the floor to remove the particles from the air.
