Negative ions need to reach you. Some products on the market generate negative ions but no ion molecule can be detected at a distance of 1m (3.2ft) away and/or ions can travel in one direction only. The Medical Ion Mini generates a massive amount of negative ions and covers a wide area for the best efficacy.

1. Massive Amount of Negative Ions

Generally, negative ion counts dramatically decrease as you go further away from the ionizer/ion generator.

More than 8,500,000 (pcs/cc) negative ions are detected at the blow off point of the Medical Ion Mini and approx. 270,000/5,000 (pcs/cc) are detected at 1/3m (3.2/9.8ft) away from the device. This means this model covers a wide area.

Rotate the blow off point to the upward direction for better negative ion distribution when located close to the floor.

You may or may not know but a lot of negative ions released from the ionizer/generator are absorbed by the floor/wall. While further research is required to fully understand how negative air ions work on the human body, beneficial effects on health have medically been found.

We used an ionizer/negative ion generator designed by Daito to conduct this experiment. We did a double-blind test to observe 1-3 under light load conditions such as immersing in cold water and doing a simple calculation.

Negative ions are dispersed to every direction.

This means not only you cannot enjoy negative ion effects but also your ionizer/ion generator just wastes electricity.

For example, if you have a heater and only the air around it can be warmed, you will look for a new heater which can distribute the hot air throughout the room. The same goes with ionizers/negative ion generators. Negative ions have to be distributed throughout the room to enjoy negative ion effects. It is often overlooked and little information can be found but it is one of the most important things to remember when you purchase an ionizer/negative ion generator.

2. How long is the life span?
